Manchester… my birthday
Gin and tonic drinking commenced in our flat at 5.45pm, promptly after class finished for the day, and my flatmates were extremely sporting to spring for cards and a cake. Then the love affair for Monday nights at Tiger Tiger began… with devastating consequences for the rest of semester and probably my attendance rate to Tuesday’s classes.
Not much has been committed to memory from this night, but there were definitely shots, shots and more shots, perhaps with some Asahi randomly dispersed throughout the evening. Down it goes, down into my belly. And we also saw John Terry (who is massive), Ashley Cole (who is not so massive, but has an exceptionally talented lady friend) and some B, scratch that, D grade celebrity from Big Brother. I hesitate to even mention her because it really gives her more credit than she deserves. Probably the most annoying personality ever to walk this earth. Seriously.
